Can You Take Too Many Supplements?
By Dr. Michael Cutler • Aug 27th, 2008 • Category: General Health, Healthy LivingDear Dr. Cutler,
Is it possible to take too many supplements? So many seem to have the same nutrients. —Betty W.
Dear Betty,
Remember that the supplements from natural sources (herbs, botanicals, foods, etc.) work in the body very differently than chemicals made in a laboratory. They give warning signs (if any) far sooner than synthetics. Most all can be doubled, tripled or more, without significant worry.
All the best!
